 The third Happy Server Friends community event this far led us into the Rathausstraße 6 in Vienna / Austria. This is the location of the so called Metalab. A place where you can hang around, play with technology, have parties and do all other kind of stuff.The Metalab was pretty full, we even catched a couple of celebrities. Of course, I had my camera with me -- I don't go anywhere without it. |

 September, 11 in US probably wasn't just another day. People thought about the World Trade center, the two planes that crashed into it 2001 and the sadness that followed that event. There is a reason why searching for september 11th on Google doesn't lead to a calendar. But what about Europe, especially Austria? I haven't noticed too much of worries here. US is far away, there's a big ocean between Europe and America. Some people even get adventurous and fly anyway. Like us. We did a helicopter ride and enjoyed it. |

I visited Berlin in February 2005. Why? Because I earned my Bachelor's and my father gave me a ticket as a gift. This trip gave me a reason for finally buying my digital camera. I brought 1.5 GB of photos (663) back, which is why it took me so long to put them online. But as all festivities must come to an end it was really about time to change that. |

Tomorrow morning (2004-02-18) I'll start the 10 hour train ride to Berlin. I'm going there for a weekend and will come back on Monday morning. My father gave me the tickets as a present, because I finished my first academic degree. Yes, I'm Bachelor. Since November 2004! No, I don't have the certificate yet. I'm looking very forward to Berlin. |
