Because I haven't seen any documentation or tutorials about how TrackBack works, I'm going to summarize what I've managed to observe about TrackBack behavior and how I added it to my homebrew PHP/MySQL CMS.
This is not intended to be a step-by-step tutorial using any specific programming languages. Rather, I hope to touch on the major needs of setting up a homebrew implementation of TrackBack. I don't pretend to completely understand the philosophy or mechanics behind TrackBack, so please contact me if you have clearer, more correct information.

Trackbacks sind eine der besten Erfindungen seit (tolle Erfindung hier einfügen). Diese Tatsache wird durch einige Problem in der technischen Umsetzung zwar etwas relativiert, aber insgesamt ist es doch eine tolle Sache.
