Hack Master 0.1.1
updated by rck, 2006-03-18

If you have a lot of different phpWebSite installation, it can happen that you lose track of your hacks. To cope with this problem, I made a little module that detects a couple of well-known hacks and shows their installation status as a table.

Usage is easy: Just boost it in and click the icon in the Control Panel.

0.1.1 includes fixes by Yves Kündig. He fixed, amongst other thing, the support for phpWebSite installation with prefixed tables.

There are at least two ways of detecting a hack, please add your approach for hacks to that thread.

Blockmaker hack should be included, as well as your calendar category hack.

        The bockmaker-hack is the blockmaker-category-hack:

And there is of course the menuman-category-hack:

I don't know what functions you could use to check if these are installed.

  • Error table not found

After installation I got an error message saying that tables couldn't be found. It appeared that in hackmaster.php the $prefix occurrences had to be removed (in the sqlTableExists and sqlColumnExists functions), or else double prefixes were generated.
Don't these functions add the prefix themselves? Or is it just a setting of mine?
